National Services

Dosh supports people with a learning disability to be able to manage their money. They provide financial advocacy, appointeeship for benefits and account management for self-directed support budgets. 

Sibs is a national charity for brothers and sisters of disabled children.

Local Services

EWMHS/CAMHS  The Emotional Well Being and Mental Health Service (EWMHS) are Redbridge’s area based specialist mental health team providing support to children, young people and their families. Their service is available to families with children & young people from birth to their 18th birthday. They offer help to children and young people who are experiencing emotional, behavioural or mental health difficulties.

ELHAP is an adventure playground designed and built for children and young people with a disability. Services for children and young people include youth club, playschemes, saturday club, emergency respite and group visits.

STAAR is a group of autistic people in and around the London Borough of Redbridge, their parents, families, carers and other supporters. They offer mutual support and advice, and provide activities and opportunities for members that may not be available to them elsewhere because of their disabilities/ additional needs. These activities include after-school clubs, small group trips, social events for carers and outings for the whole family.

Links Support Solutions is a new community day service provision for people aged 18 years old and over with a Learning Disability, Complex Needs, and Autism focusing on Leisure, Employment, Skills for Life and Friendships. 

Uniting Friends is a social inclusion project for adults with a learning disability. They provide opportunities for people to take part in social and educational activities, express their unique identities and develop their skills their skills to reach their full potential in the community.

MHST - Mental Health Support Team Redbridge. This service provides a range of brief, evidence-based interventions to support children and young people experiencing anxiety, low mood and/or behavioural difficulties.

Endorphins are the new short breaks providers for Young Carers in Redbridge.

Sycamore Trust offers support to assist parents and carers of a child or young person with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Redbridge Forum work with groups and individuals to improve the quality of life of people with a learning disability and/or on the Autistic Spectrum and their family carers living in Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham and Havering
