Today we attended the launch of the new engagement hub on Ilford Lane as RIASS have been formerly invited to hold a weekly drop in surgery for residents in LBR every Monday from 10am-4pm
The groundbreaking new Engagement Hub in Jubilee Gardens, Ilford Lane, IG1 2HX is the second stage of LBRs Enforcement Hub project, launched by Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper MP in 2021.
Engagement Hubs bring vital council services into the communities they serve, so local people can access essential support right on their doorstep. We are pleased to be consider as one of the essential services that families need in LBR.
Through the hubs Redbridge residents can access cost of living support, Parents and Families information, advice and support services for SEND, and also engage with the Metropolitan Police.
The Ilford Engagement Hub will be joined by Engagement Hubs in Hainault and Chadwell, bringing vital council services directly into three of the most deprived areas of Redbridge.
The innovative Engagement Hub programme will transform the way LBR engages with local people, decentralising council services, improving access, and exemplifying partnership working within the brorough.
LBR are pioneering a new local authority model which could be adopted country-wide.
